Lucas Rogers

Lucas Rogers is a Senior Economic Development Manager at the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), bringing extensive experience in economic development, clean energy, and sustainability. Prior to joining NYSERDA, he served in the Albany County Executive’s Office, where he played a key role in implementing the County’s Strategic Economic Development Plan and co-led the creation of the Advance Albany County Alliance. His work included overseeing major clean energy and technology initiatives, securing significant public and private investment, advancing brownfield redevelopment, and launching workforce, broadband, and sustainability programs. Lucas holds a Master of Public and International Affairs with a focus on energy policy and economics from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s degree in political science and international relations from SUNY Oswego.
