Jeff Stone is a retired banking executive with over 50 years of experience in the financial services industry, including leadership roles at Berkshire Bank, Kinderhook Bank, and KeyBank. He served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking for Berkshire Bank. Prior to that, Jeff held senior positions such as District President at KeyBank, where he managed a workforce of nearly 1,000 employees across commercial, wealth management, retail, investment services, and mortgage banking.
Throughout his career, Jeff has been recognized for his strategic leadership, extensive industry knowledge, and dedication to community involvement. His work has focused on fostering growth, building strong teams, and enhancing client experiences in the banking sector.
In addition to his professional achievements, Jeff is an active community leader. He serves on the boards of Albany Medical Center, Columbia Memorial Health, the College of Saint Rose, the Center for Economic Growth, and the Palace Theater, among others.
Originally from Malone, New York, Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from St. Lawrence University and graduated from the American Bankers Association-Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware. He currently resides in Waterford, NY, with his wife Diane and enjoys spending time with his two grown children.
